Well that's very disappointing. Would really like to have seen more of this, as well as Starlings.

Just saw "Still Swayze's After All These Years". Amid all the frivolity, they manage to end with a very touching scene with Joe and Jack as they admire the new baby. Damn, I'm going to miss this show!

I can't reply to the S1 thread which is a bit odd. It's watchable so far with some good supporting characters, but it's like a Geordie version of Gavin and Stacey.

^ Yes, either in this thread or the S1 thread I felt it was a spiritual successor to Gavin & Stacey.

Also feel Hebburn was more consistently great compared to G&S (Didn't enjoy Series 3 of G&S much, though still liked it).

Funny this thread has popped up again, I watched both series on Netflix over the last few weeks (except the Christmas one which I'll save for Christmas itself). Loved it, and gutted it didn't continue.
