I don't think this show is very bad, it has some very good points.

I really rather liked this series. Not always that funny but I enjoyed the stories and liked the characters. I'd certainly watch a second series were one made.

The granny character is brilliant! Overall a watchable series, but not in my top 10.

The chip shop in this was called Fishy Fingers. Hoo Hoo. One of the best and only gags in it mind you. Still it was better than most of the rubbish that's on right now.

I don't remember this at all and I never got to watch this. Was it just dumped?

Sounds like a typical Marmite ITV sitcom.

Light comedy drama, not sitcom. And yes, it just disappeared.

I'm American, and I quite like Edge of Heaven. Most of the characters are likeable or at least tolerable (except Carly). I realize it has some weaknesses, but I think many of the negative reviews are unnecessarily harsh. I've watched the series twice already (on BritBox), and I'm on the edge of embarking on a third time through.
