I have to move some bedroom furniture around in a bit so will listen to it then Dan Smarmy

It is more a cooking/washing-up listen thing than a moving bedroom furniture listen thing, I would say...

I enjoyed that. I liked Obama claiming he supported Dundee United and the Trump Scotland piece in particular. Some well known writers in there as well!

Glad you liked it, and particularly that you liked the Trump sketch as I wrote it :)

Well done young man. Wave

It was great! Loved all of it start to end! Well Done Producer! Full series?

Thanks guys. Well dones also to swerytd and StephenM!

Answer to the "Full Series?" question is in the hands of the commissioning gods. Seems to have gone down very well so fingers crossed!

Well done all involved!

Good listening while cooking toad-in-the-hole.

Would be interested to know how you got into the writing team.
And not just cos you're talented, which of course you all are!

Mike.

In summary (and this applies to all 3 of us):
- Build up lots of writing credits/get involved in a podcast
- Networking with the above to refer to...
- ...results in someone seeing something I wrote that they really like
- Write more stuff they really like
- Name plus a bit more new stuff gets put forward to production team
- Invited to send stuff to show

So the "usual" way really!

Thanks for that.
Glad to hear that it's through consistently good work.
'Live from Kirrin Island' is great by the way.

Very good to hear on Kirrin Island :) Difficult to stress how much being part of a regular podcast helps in terms of networking and improving your writing...although it is a LOT of work!

So I shouldn't, at this point, say that I would like to hear it more regularly?
Was going great guns on The Football Special. Dead now.
