Hello and Welcome to the BCG Wave

Just watched your Spare Room clip on YouTube. Is 450 pound a month about standard for a room in a shared house in London theseadays? If so, in what part of the city? Does it include utilities?

yes. For anywhere in zone 1/2

I liked Spare Room, very silly :)

Amazing. Thank you sglen!

Hi.

Hi Gordon Bennett. Hope you enjoy our sketches!

keep it up :D :D :D

Hello, just watched some of your vids, very funny. Are you planning on doing longer episode videos or keep it at shorter clips?

Thank you very much! We're planning on making full 30 minute episodes to send of to broadcasters.

That is cheap. I was paying that in zone 3. Zone 1 you are looking at 600 - 700 a month (before bills). My friend in Kings Cross was paying £850. They didn't even have a living room. Silly money.

Oh, and welcome Ryan Wave

So if minimum wage in the UK is about £1,100, then some poor bastards will be blowing half their dough on rent. Tsk.

Yep. Which is why the housing crisis is so acute. More and more people are seeking out social housing because they have been priced out of the private market.

We are getting towards a situation where only rich people can afford to live in London, which would be disastrous.

It's not good thanks to my job I pay 2 thirds rent, but still its double what most of my none London friends pay for twice as much space.
