Comedy and cancer: suggestions for book

Hi, folks

Wearing a different hat, I'm co-writing a book on women's experiences of breast cancer. I'm including the benefits of comedy/laughter during treatment, and I wondered if any of you writers/performers had any experience of working with people with cancer? I know, for example,of a comedy network that operates (ha) in some US hospitals, but I'm not aware of an equivalent here.

Thanks!

Vivienne

I'm afraid I don't have that sense of tumour.

:D >_<

(C) Poirot 2013?

Apparently, the actor who played Tonto in the original Lone Ranger series has been diagnosed with cancer.

He's receiving Kemo-therapy.
