my gf and I saw Educating Rita on stage (the proper play) couple of weeks ago in Portsmouth (Kings Theatre), it was very good.

I saw this film last night and loved it. Their characters are quite broad, but I didn't really mind. The depiction of academia as a kind of mask for other mental health issues in the case of Michael Caine and Maureen Lipman's characters was pretty interesting.

Great film and and I love the theme music.
