I think this year has been alright for comedy. Sky have thrown everything at the wall to see what sticks and a few of my favourite shows returned successfully. The BBC have been pretty awful, bland, risk free and dull.
The only BBC shows I've enjoyed this year were the established returning shows; Not Going Out, The Thick of It, Getting On, Twenty Twelve.....yep, that's every comedy show I enjoyed on the BBC this year.
