I hate the people who make this, 8OOTCs, Would I Lie to You and Mock The Week because they're putting the format above the talents of the people involved. Sean Lock shouldn't have to lower himself to these levels.

Mack and Lock are fantastic comedy combo if only it went on longer.

I thought tonight's episode (Lee Mack) was the best of the series. It helps when the guest puts some effort in.

As an aside: I was just thinking - wouldn't all chat shows be better if alcohol was involved?

Yes to alcohol. Also, it always makes a difference if the guest and host are obviously mates in real life too.
