BBC 3 Feed My Funny Online Pilots

A bunch of new pilots have been put online by BBC Three:

So far I've watched sketch pilot 'Dawson Bros. Funtime', which was really very good, well worth a look. And hopefully a full series.

Just watched People Just Do Nothing...pretty poor stuff. What Chris Sussman and Ash Atalla have seen in this is beyond me.

Interesting way of introducing pilots though, and hopefully one which will allow a lot more pilots to be greenlit and given the chance.

I watched most of Tape Face the other day. Didn't realise this is what it's for. I'll probably make my way through the others this week. Thanks Stottington!

Caught 'The Boy With Tape on His Face's contribution and really enjoyed it. Pleasantly surprised to see Tony Law and what's his face from The Beta Males popping up. Anyone know if The Boy has ever worked with either of them in a live capacity before??

Anyway.. off to watch some of the others...

Not that I'm aware of, apart from the obvious bill sharing.

Seems they've been taken down again now. Wonder what will come of it.

I saw:
The Tape Face Tapes - Found it oddly entertaining, it wasn't terribly funny but it was bizarre enough to keep me interested. Don't think a full series would work though.
Dawson Bros Funtime - Definitely the funniest of the pilots, made me chuckle heartily a few times. I hope they don't keep the mostly-internet-and-new-gadgets theme if they did a full series though.
The Imran Yusef (sp) Show - Quite good, had a few good jokes. Probably not a stand-up I'd particularly seek out in future.
For The Win - Hmmm. A lot of the material was painfully weak, and the whole presentation style (and title) was a bit punch-worthy. Had some good moments though, and some of the performances were very good.

Only tried a couple at random, but all seems online and working here?

They claim: "Available until 10:28AM Sun, 2 Jul 2017"

Ah, they've been taken out of the iPlayer comedy listings though. Apart from People Just Do Nothing.

That page is not working at all for me, but perhaps they're just showcasing one a week in iPlayer proper? They're not actually shows for catch-up, after all.

They were all there. But yeah guess it makes sense not to have them there forever.
