That said
Yeh you're shit out of luck.

Sham as we're such a gorgeous bunch.

Better looking than early 1980s Neighbours cast

That's good. Hope you all have a better fashion sense as well.

Thanks Angie. Train tickets are now booked, see you all on the 7th Wave

Can anyone suggest a good pub? I'm thinking somewhere on the river or more central with a garden, that serves good food and cold beer.

I guess given recent weather a pub with a decent indoor option should be considered too.

Here are a few obvious ones, all do food though I haven't tasted any of it:

Old Thameside Inn - LONDON BRIDGE http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london-bridge/old-thameside-inn/269
Badge says "nice beer, good riverside terrace with plenty of seating that can fill up, a bit harder to find than some, though it's on the fugging river so how hard can that be?"

Doggett's Coat and Badge - BLACKFRIARS http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london/doggetts-riverside-bar-and-terraces/81
Badge says "it's got my name in it, but not my coat. Nice beer again. Near Blackfriars on the south bank. Seats at rear (no views to speak of) and front (basically a few tables on the riverside walk next to the bridge, but not in a bad way).

The Founders Arms - BLACKFRIARS http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london/founders-arms/155
Badge says "ugly looking 70s pub that you don't have to look at while you are drinking on the ample riverside seating near the Tate Modern. Good views if they finish the Blackfriars development this year, otherwise only look east."

Anchor at Bankside - LONDON BRIDGE http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london/the-anchor/83
Badge says "previous BCG-cum-tourist favourite. Will be busy, but it's still an option, though not my preference."

The George - LONDON BRIDGE http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london/george-inn/46
Badge says "easy to find, historical, lots of outdoor seating. Unfortunately it's a bit like a car park. But it does have a view of the Shard."

The Mudlark - LONDON BRIDGE http://fancyapint.com/Pub/london/mudlark/1344
Badge says "another pub with decent beers and an outside area but it couldn't be described as a beer garden; main plus is tourists only find it by accident"

Laughing out loud I vote either Old Thameside Inn or Doggett's Coat and Badge, based purely on the descriptions since I can never remember the names of pubs I've been to.

The reviews on those web-links say that the staff at The Thameside were unhelpful, but OK at the Doggett.

Doggett it is then. Although it is inevitable that Badge will leave his coat there

Right, so I'm having drinks with AJGO and Bill Will on May 11th from 6.30pm at the Prince Arthur in Euston. Would anyone else like to come along? Be good to see you, yes you... the one at the back. FANCY YOU.

L.E., AJGO and Bill Will? How can I resist a drink with you three hot babes? I'll be a-coming.

Keys in a bowl again?

suggestive, not sure I will like it on my own, scary, need to think.

If you decide to come let me know and we'll sort out a plan!

:D Thankyou! x

Keys in a bowl again?

Um, I just remembered a really important thing I have to go to instead.
With my keys.

Don't worry - I've rigged it we get each other, then we can go home for pillow fights in our PJs.
