First of all, sorry for any misspelling and/or wrong sentences.

I am looking for a British comedy series that was aired in Denmark some years ago.

I can't remember that much about the series, but it is an older man and his wwife who starts to explore the differences between Britain and the other mmembers of the European Union, or do you call it EEC?

The only thing I can remember clearly is that the old man reverses his car onto the ferry when he leaves Britain because then the car will be pointing in the right direction when they arrive to the other european conutries that drives in the other side of the road.

Can anyone remember this series and give me the title?

I believe you're thinking of Root into Europe by Willie Donaldson (who invented the character in a very funny book) and Mark Chapman. It starred George Cole.

A very amusing series. Pity it hasn't been released on DVD.

Yes this must be the right one, even if I remember the man as a big older, but then again, it is many years since it was on the TV.

To bad it seems quite impossible to get on DVD.
