Just tried it. It's working.

Cool, all entered! Now I just have to finish the rest of the script!! (It IS basically complete, but am updating an old stage script for the screen...)

I sent it on Thursday, so I hope it was just a glitch for submitting. And not a glitch that got rid of other submissions!

My entry is in. It's the old waiting game for me, now. Any idea how long the judging process takes?

In. With a whole seven and a half hours to spare! I hate final draft. It kept saving the wrong title page to the pdf.

Done with 2 and a half hours left on the clock.

No idea what I'm going to write for the next 40 pages though.

I'm thinking the same thing. And I wrote a 59 page script for this a couple of weeks ago but ended up not using it because it just didn't feel right.

I've sent off ten pages I'm quite proud of and I've written a dozen more, but I'm enjoying the proccess which is the main thing

The current incarnation of my script is about 40 pages. It was longer, but I cut some chaff. Gonna redo the other 10-20 pages really soon, have a bit of an edit.

Been working on this for a good while.

The only piece of my script that has remained unchanged since I wrote it is the final scene. I must like it or something!

Um. I cut things to fit as well. In reality I'd like to spend a bit more time on the opening set up but I feel this has pace. Just runningin not quite the direction I hoped! I know where I want it go but I've got a lot of writing to do to get the other forty pages to go with the start.
Oh well.

He says the call for full-scripts will be early Feb with a deadline for submission early March. (I don't think these dates are set in stone but it's their best guess at the moment).

They must have a large team of readers to do such a quick turnaround. I'm grateful that the waiting time is going to be minimal; hopefully my nails won't be bitten down to the knuckles when they announce the 2nd rounders.

Hmmm, if that's the case they've already fallen behind! The website says this:

"This year's first round is now closed to entries. If you get through to the second round you will receive an email after 30th Janurary. Your full script will be requested, which you will have to submit by 20th February."

Has it been announced how many entries were received this year?
