Hello everyone, Thanks for looking at my post!

I am trying to find the name of a UK TV show that was around in the 1990s for my dad. Our whole family loved it but none of us can remember the name!

It was set in a cafe/diner, there was always 2 policemen sitting in there eating and usually a painter as well. The opening and closing scene showed the cafe and the neon light on top never worked properly. I think Dervla Kirwan was in it but not totally sure.

Any assistance would be much appreciated as I'd like to try and purchase the DVD for my father.

Sounds like Angelo's, if it hadn't been on in the 90s.

I think Aaron has it right. Border Cafe had Elizabeth Carling who looks not dissimilar to Dervla Kirwan.

Indeed, Liz took over Dervla's part in Goodnight Sweetheart.

Then I think that is the one being asked about at the top of this forum the neon light on RESTAURANT flickered after REST...(aurant)
