Let's have a game of Comedy Connections!

OK, this is a game me and my brother created years ago. Someone has to name two comedy shows and then someone else has to find a link between them using people who have appeared in the show and other shows.

An example would be...

Q. Find a comedy connection between 'Only Fools and Horses' & 'Two Pints'?

You could answer...

A.'Only Fools and Horses', Gina Bellman had a small role in cornflake contest show.
1. Gina Bellman stared in 'Coupling' with Sarah Alexandra
2. Sarah Alexandra was in 'Green Wing' with Tamsin Greig
3. Tamsin Greig appeared in 'Love Soup' with Sheridan Smith
B. Sheridan Smith appears in 'Two Pints'

So, I managed to connect 'Only Fools and Horses' & 'Two Pints' via 3 other shows. The aim is to connect the shows in as few moves as possible. Can anyone else find a shorter route?

Have a go yourself? Answering some of these examples or post some yourself. ;o)

'Blackadder' to 'Fawlty Towers'
'I'm Alan Partridge' to '15 Storeys High'
'The Inbetweeners' to 'The IT Crowd'
'Men Behaving Badly' to 'Outnumbered'
'Not Going Out' to 'The Vicar Of Dibley'
'Gavin & Stacey' to 'Coming Of Age'

Have fun. ;o)

Blackadder - Fawlty Towers
1. Blackadder stars (on and off) Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie who both went to Cambridge and subsequently were in the Footlights.
2. Another member of the Footlights, in previous years, was John Cleese.
3. John Cleese starred in Fawlty Towers.

'Blackadder' to 'Fawlty Towers'

1. Geoffrey Palmer had a cameo in both shows (Sir Douglas Haig & the doctor that was desperate for his sausages!)

That was very impressive.

My way was...

A. 'Blackadder' Rik Mayall played Lord Flash-Heart!
1. Terry Jones was the 'The Young Ones' in the episode Terror
2. Terry Jones was in Monty Python with John Cleese
B. John Cleese = Fawlty Towers!

But there's no doubt about it lofthouse, that was swift. ;)

Try another, see if you can do it again :D

John Cleese was in Secret Policeman's Biggest Ball. So was Rowan Atkinson...

Not Going Out stars Lee Mack. Le Mac is what they call a burger in French. Vicar of Dibley stars Dawn French.
I haven't quite got this idea have I?

The Inbetweeners was on 4, and so was The I.T. Crowd. Beat that.

Striclty speaking, The Inbetweeners was on E4. ;)

They have both been on 4 though haven't they?

Well, The IT Crowd has been repeated on E4, and The Inbetweeners has been repeated on Channel 4... But if we go by repeats, then pretty much every show can be linked to everythhing else with just one word: GOLD. ;)

The rules of the game are appeared in. So we're all wrong.

I still win, you're just being picky. ;)

Rules are for breaking. As is wind.

I oughta punch you in the chuff.

On second thoughts it might generate more wind.

You haven't got the chuff punching abilities in your assault locker. And if you had you'd probably get the key jammed in the lock and have to bend the top out with a metal ruler.

That told him.

Chuff.
