British black/dark comedy suggestions? Page 2

The Strange World Of Gurney Slade is pretty f**king mental too. Dark, druggy and surrealist.

I have a vague recollection of Gerry Sadowitz in The Pallbearer's Revue being dark. I think it would be difficult to get a copy of it though as it hasn't been re-released AFAIK.

Well remembered! Yes, The Pall Bearer's Revue is pretty dark stuff. Sketch, stand-up and magic.

"The League of Gentlemen"
"The Life and Times of Vivienne Vyle"

Nighty Night is my favourite dark comedy. It's a shame the BBC didn't have the balls to commission a full series of Lizzie and Sarah. Oh well at least they commissioned other great comedies like; Big Top, Roger and Val, Candy Cabs, the list is endless...
