I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue

Extremely popular radio comedy. ISIHAC is a self-styled antidote to panel games, in which players are given silly things to do

I have been enjoying this brilliant show again just recently and I'm glad that despite the sad passing of Humphrey Lyttleton, the decision was taken to, in the best showbiz traditions, have the show go on.

I think Jack Dee does a very good job as chairman and although Humph's impeccable delivery will always be missed, the laughs are still big and plentiful. ISIHAC always puts me in a really good mood and I'll often walk about the place happy and smiling; until I maybe see Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden or that bloody Take Me Out shite on TV.

I agree that Jack Dee does a good job but I've been listening to it for so long that it still doesn't sound right in the intro: "...and your chairman is Humphrey Lyttelton Jack Dee..."

I have the same thing at the start of University Challenge. I always hear:

"Asking the questions...Bamber Gasgoigne"

I Love CLUE. I've always wondered if Lionel Blair was a fan!

I seem to recall an interview a while back where he said his wife hated the running gag and it was good Lyttelton had died (might need some more context on that) - he was under the impression that the joke had stopped since Jack Dee took over, I think.

Just listened to episode 2 of series 57 on iPlayer. If you want 30 minutes of laugh out loud comedy, get over there now!

Under a wrong impression.

Thought the first new ep outshone the second, apart from a couple of glorious second-ep moments. It's also always nice to hear the panelists' genuine laughter at some of their colleagues' material.
