A place called home.

She's a great talent. Compared to her previous output, wasn't so keen on her last two albums. The Hope Six Demolition Project worked best for me as a live performance (on TV) at Glastonbury, though I don't think you, or Lofty will be needing any iced water if you watch it.

Escape by Journey.

Always good to catch some Steve Perry now and then.

A girl like you.

I shall not rise to that.
Orange Juice's Rip It Up was cute too.
A girl like you features Sex Pistol Paul on drums. A fascinating anecdote.

I'll see your fascinating anecdote and raise you another even more fascinating.

You my enjoy my list of interesting facts about the Spice Girls. https://www.comedy.co.uk/forums/thread/25621/147/

:)

i think it's quite interesting that you could actually only find nine interesting facts

11. Baby Spice is not actually a baby. To qualify as 'baby' one must be aged up to 14 months, which would render one ineligible for work in many countries. The term is, then, merely a jovial reference to Emma's girlish appearance, though it may also indicate her vocal range.

Don't worry Baby* by Bryan Ferry from his first solo album which I just bought from an Oxfam Shop.

* Not a reference to the above post.

:D Ginger is the only nickname in the group that is actually a spice. I wouldn't call myself a fan back in those days but they were a likable group and apart from the obvious exception of Victoria, they all had nice singing voices. Goodbye is a great song. Brings back a lot of memories when that comes on the radio.

12. Geri's nickname was Ginger, and if you take this nickname, reverse the syllables, and remove the outer letters of what is now the second syllable, it spells her first name. This does not apply to any other Spice Girl. I have tried.
