Well he and Stewart originally created the character (from what I remember) but they took it off them and ran with it (brilliantly, as I'm sure Richard agrees). But never gave them the credit they deserved.

Yeah I just read an old interview with Stewart Lee and Richard Herring, where they talk about that period. Herring seemed fairly cool about it, to be honest.
Aw, that's good. Maybe I misunderstood some comments in whatever interview I read where he was still coming off like he hated him!

Lee's solo stand up is better known, he has his own stand up TV show, and he's one of the most critically acclaimed comedians around; so not that hard to understand!

I always thought they were both attractive (and both are now), but I know what you mean. Herring's come into his own!
