After a string of amazing sell-out heats for the first round, things are hotting up now with the Quarter-Finals - come and watch the UK's best emerging musical comedians battle it out for the 2010 Musical Comedy Awards!

Now in it's second year, the Musical Comedy Awards is a unique competition that celebrates the emerging musical comedy community in the UK and promotes the venerable art form of comedy songwriting as an independent genre.

The UK's top forty emerging musical comedians have been selected by Time Out Comedy editor Tim Arthur from Avin a Larf's dedicated musical comedy website www.musicalcomedy.co.uk to compete in a series of live heats - come and watch the pick of the crop do battle for the crown of the 2010 Musical Comedy Awards!

Both the Quarter-Finals will showcase eleven musical comedy acts that have progressed through the first round alongside one established circuit act. As you will soon see from the talent on display, many of the emerging artists are firmly on their way to being established too. Here are the dates for Quarter-Finals:
