Comedy.co.uk Awards 2009 Page 3

That's a good start anyway. Well done. :)

For those not aware, voting for the awards closes on Saturday midnight.

When does it close for the aware?

And when is midnight on Saturday? I've always been confused by that one. Is it just before Sunday or just after Friday?

Just before Sunday.

The results will be announced in our first (full) newsletter of the year, which will be sent on Monday morning.

Well, the results are in. Some of it is quite surprising, some predictable, and indeed IMO some quite disappointing. But all shall be revealed tomorrow...

I've just been told by Mark that the voting will stop at 4pm today. He is currently busy working on the article for Shameless.

The voting has now closed!

Good round up I say and I'm pretty pleased with the results as they pretty much reflect my choices. :)

I don't remember exactly, but a good few thousand.

Pretty darn happy with that list. :)

(Almost felt sorry for Horne and Corden...almost)

I always feel sorry for the 'worst' people.

I'm no statistician, but it does seem a little odd that The Thick Of It can win overall, but not its own category.

EDIT: Bit of an idiot thing to say, really. Having given it more than four seconds' consideration, it's pretty obvious how this result could have come about.

I personally wouldn't vote twice for the same thing in different categories, I'd want to spread the love a little bit.
