Wow. Thats a lot of rules!
Quite fussy to...
But the grammar and spelling ones are a blessed relief I feel, having been angered for too long by the half-arsed, illiterate scrawl so abundant across the tinternet these days. Though many of the other rules are kind of laughable seeing as they're broken in General Discussion all the time.

There may be a lot of rules, but that's the way we like it around here (half of us being practicing fascists in our spare time, of course). Even I, with my grade A at English A Level (in the days when an 'A' grade actually meant something ) find being corrected to use proper syntax, spelling and grammar generally improves my use of the English language. Consider the site's insistence upon it a healthy and (almost) subliminal form of education. Demonstrate your superior knowledge of syntax and grammar to your schoolfriends and no doubt they will "beat big you up".

Look I don't need to come on here to be patronised by young females. I've got daughters to do that.

What I said is im impressed you have an A level. And that I want one.
And now we are off topic of the entire discussion.
Yeah so... go Simon

Don't worry, you're not alone in having that problem around here.
I think you meant "patronising" rather than "patriotic".
(I don't mean to be condensing.)

He has gone, dear, but he will be returning to your screen in his sitcom...
