The BCG bar. Page 47

They would have to have a small foot print to all get on the scale at the same time.

Are they showing the match in here this afternoon?

The till's down again

A pint of mild, please.

We've got a connoisseur in guys
Give him the good stuff
Really?
Ok give him the best we've got

I'll have a pint of Doombar Steve please.

Is that a real beer or a new name for the pub?

I've only brewed one mild and it was several years ago, but I'm in the mood for a malty, low-ABV beer, so I'm going to try to brew this vintage recipe in a few days:

Golden syrup is expensive and difficult to obtain in the States, so I'm going to try making my own Invert #1 syrup using these instructions:

It's a lot of work, but it's not as if I can just pop into the local store for a decent mild or bitter, so...

Well you can always pop in the BCG bar for one*

I make some cracking ESBs, bitters, golden ales and pale ales. My prices are reasonable, but shipping costs are likely to be substantial.

I guess I should improve my cask tapping skills if I'm going to enter the UK market. I still can't quite get the hang of it.

The UK market is easy
We just like lots of it

I'll need a bigger garage.

On my third pint of the American Pale Ale (albeit made with some English malts and an English yeast strain) that I brewed just before Christmas and it's extremely tasty. Easy to drink at 5.6% ABV and very fruity due to the English yeast and Mosaic hops.

Pint of cider please

:O NOT a pint of the amber nectar?!?

(Aside to hopefully that nice quiet barmaid - "Do you do teas?")
