The BCG bar. Page 46

Has the BCG Bar closed for refurbishment?

Always order your drinks in such a way as to impress:

"Mines a light ale, leave it in the bottle just uncap it - gently now, gently.."

Let's all have a drink to Oldrocker!

Great idea (raises a glass of bucks fizz) - "To Oldrocker, may heaven be populated by Compo, Clegg and Foggy."

*raises glass to OldRocker*

Mines a double gin and slim line tonic

What do you mean I can't have an umbrella and a cherry with a Light Ale? Angry

And cheers to the memory of the Oldrocker, I remember him posting, don't know if I ever was in his threads but RIP all the same.

'Old Rocker!' How I wish he could know we're drinking to him. *sips a white wine*

A snowball. Actually, I think that OR would approve of such a retro tipple.

Oh and one of those black country real ales
Put that in a small glass though

That reminds me of Christmas visits to neighbours and friends. My parsimonious Mama only bought the knock off egg flip though.

Having a pint of Wychwood's Hobgoblin.

Incidentally Wychwood produced a beer called Piledriver using the Quo logo - OR's heroes.

I'm not drinking alcohol yet, as a) I don't have a 'problem' and b) Since hitting a milestone birthday last year, I've gone into terminal decline. That said, though I'm planning to have a latte very soon.

The reason I nipped into the BCG Bar at this hour was to enquire whether anyone can match my feat of personally knowing four men who tip the scales at 25 stone plus? Beat that!
