I've just watched this for the umpteenth time. Funniest award acceptance speech ever.

Laughing out loud Good find Jacob.
I've been fiddling with my own YouTube video trying to embed it into my website.
Nothing fun or funny about it, it's a PowerPoint I did for a design class.

Funny? It wouldn't be a tenth as funny if the audience weren't pissing themselves in fawning over Gervais. FFS. The man needs to be shot.

Fawning :D - Don't think so, it was just funny in my opinion, why would they fawn over him??

"The man needs to be shot" - Does he? In the whole scheme of things, does he really??????

(Word of advice, don't try doing those kind of jokes to Ash in real life.)

What's the point of this YouTube thing? As far as I can see they don't have any porn on there, the time-wasters.

I so wouldn't put it past him. :)

Surely there must be porn on there sometimes, even if it would get taken off within a few minutes.

Yes.

But in the whole scheme of things, does he really need to be shot dead in cold blood?? Ricky Gervais, comedian, 48 years old, does he really really need to be shot for dividing opinion on whether he is funny or not?

I hated the bit with the high five. But the rest was quite funny.

Some people see fawning, hate fawning and then turn that hate on the person the fawners are fawning over. When it's not really the fawnee's fault.

*has hurt own brain*

I managed to get through a whole hour without mentioning it once. Pleased (Not really something to be proud of I suppose.)

Got the pilot episode of Come Back Mrs Noah on it at the minute. First time I've seen it. Only watching it because I love the double act of Donald Hewlett and Michael Knowles.

Except in this case it really is his fault, and he encourages and revels in it.
