She has an impressive track record as already mentioned. Noticed she co-created the unfashionable and unloved Drop Dead Gorgeous which was a rare piece of engaging comedy drama which all age groups could take something from. That is really difficult to pull off but it was enjoyable, well written and casted.

This is great, listing good shows she's been involved in, but does it mean she'll make a good comedy controller? Who have been the good comedy controllers in the past, and who were bad? And was their CV prior to entering the job a good indicator of how well they performed in post?

She has built good relationshops with the regional indies which can only be a good thing for first-time writers looking to get their stuff produced.

Frank Muir.

Responsible for the appalling 'The Cup' and the good 'The Old Guys'. Hopefully, if she's in with Iannucci, we'll have a second series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle.
