Noel Fielding axed from Buzzcocks Page 2

He went on tour (then quit). Noel was a guest captain.

If it's a mixture of music and comedy you want, there can only be one choice - Richard Stilgoe.

Apparently, he's still alive, at least according to Wikipedia.

I didn't even know NF was team captain. What happened to Bill?

As Nil says, Bill Bailey announced a series off. They had a series of guest hosts, of which Noel was one. It was announced a couple of months ago that Bill would not be returning, and Noel would be taking his place.

Now, not.

Thousands of TV sets across the country would end up smashed.

Indeed. :)

:D I saw him on something recently. Can't remember what, but he still had the same roll-neck jumper on he wore in the 70s/80s.

What about Terry Christian, he's got a good knowledge of music and is totally sarky?

Yeah but he supports Manchester United.

Ah.

Nothing to do with Simon Amstell. Just don't bother with 'Buzzcocks anymore.

I reckon Noel Gallagher would be brilliant if they could get him.

My money is on Alan Carr

Also in the Sun is news that Kerry Katona has been axed from Iceland snorting coke-

It does look a bit upmarket for Iceland's demographic, perhaps she should stuck to White Star cider and crystal meth.

Only seen Noel in The IT Crowd and liked him in that.

I'd like to see the sixties throwback back.

*girl's scream*

Wasn't he a fifties throwback?

I'm sure he'd enjoy that.

What about a replacement for Noel though?
