The Two Ronnies

Hugely popular and long-running sketch show that established Ronnie Corbett and Ronnie Barker as two of the biggest names in British comedy

Hey ho, this is a bit random, but I wonder if any of you chaps would know the name of the band or the episode that they appeared in of the Two Ronnies.

They looked to be a Partridge-esque family singing group in floor length Kaftany type affairs, and they sang a cheeseball version of 'Killing me Softly' It is quite awesome in it's 'Abigail's Party'ness

We had 35 seconds of the spectacle captured for posterity but my diigi-box doodah has just gone and deleted it, forever.

Can anyone remember this and help me find it?

Could it be the New Seekers or The Swingle Singers maybe?

Normally the answer is Barbara Dickson and if that's wrong, probably Elaine Page.

The musical bits were the best parts in the two Ronnies IMO

the brass band one and the come dancing ones are bloody brilliant
