Gone To Seed

HMV in my city have a DVD of a comedy called "Gone To Seed" with Alison Steadman and Jim Broadbent. I'm a big fan of Jim Broadbent - the first time I paid any attention to him was on Victoria Wood ("what's the matter, our Rose"?)

It's outrageously prices, so I haven't bought it. Is it any good? Worth the investment?

I've never heard of this before, and from what I can see it's more comedy-drama than sitcom, so going to move the thread.

If it's that expensive, perhaps you could rent it first and then buy if you like it enough? Or buy and then sell if you don't like it?

ore comedy-drama

You made a miner mistake.

Very good.

As I recall it was an inferior sequel to the rather good Gone To The Dogs.
