I'm looking for a 'dongle' I can use to get on the Internet on my laptop and wifi enabled ipad.

Is such a thing possible?

I'd like at least 5gb....and cheap!

3 does my mifi dongle £15 sqwuids a month for 10g more than I need and as fact as broad band

Yup its WiFi so works with anything thast takjes wifi

Mi-Fi devices create a local wi-fi hotspot and connect it to the Internet by 3G or 2G connection.

So it's like an Internet Cafe that you can carry around with you.

Yup its quite cool, because regular dongles can get knocked or fall off.

Where as my wizzy little mifi thingumy sits wrapped in a sock at the bottom of my rucksack and powers my pad, mobile etc.

I'm looking for a sock to wrap my dongle in.
Any recommendations?

(PS I know nothing about socks)

The most important thing to remember is

1 Is the sock on anybodys foot?
2 Is it a black cat with white paws?

Both are HIGHLY unsuitable.
