How has the year 2012 treated you? Page 2

A more challenging year than I had bargained for; I will probably need a bit of perspective before I can assess how well it has gone. Hoping for less work, more play next year.

The first half of the year was a bit shit for me due to the usual bugbears of money, friends and work. Thankfully things normalised a bit in the summer and life has been more dope.

Dreadful. 2013 better be an improvement.

Parts have been an utter pile of festering poo. And other parts okay.
Lucky for me I'm an optimist. Next year will hopefully be a bit better.

For some reason I read this as, "Lucky for me I'm an optometrist." And I thought, why should an optometrist have a better life than any other professional? And then I realised my mistake. And that you probably weren't an optometrist at all.

But are you involved in any way with the eye health industry?

Anyway, this post has been another highlight of my year. So, thank you!

I find eyeballs DISGUSTING.

I find eyeballs DISGUSTING.

I prefer other food, too.

All up hill first half and then straight down the second half. Roll on 2013.

That's one way to celebrate the Jubilee I spose. :|

2012 was a mixed bag. 2013 has to be better :)

Mainly good, soured by my daughter's marriage imploding after only 2 years :(

That's really shitty, I hope she brushes herself down and not become a celibate hermit like myself.

I completed and passed an MA this year, so I am now underskilled for my academic level and over qualified for skills level. Thus reducing my future job prospects.
