And very amusing. :)

Thoroughly enjoying this series. As are most people, ../

Judging by what tends to become popular in the arts, most people like drivel.

"visitor stats and database crashes whenever it's on" - Not even three pages of comments since the series started! You need to change your server if it crashes after TWO comments from last night's episode!

The series spend too long on each scene. It's boring, and never funny!

You realise this website is far more than just a message board, I hope?

And it's always funny! You just seem to be always wrong. ;)

That's not caused by people fleeing their TVs all at the same time then? :P

Only to find out who was in the excellent programme they just watched. :)

I've been largely bewildered by BBC's comedy output of late, but Me and Mrs Jones is certainly much better than the usual fare.

Sarah A is utter gorgeous, and Neil Morrissey gets the first bit of decent acting in his career. The younger cast members are okay, but what I really like about it is that it is unpretentious. It's just pleasant to watch.

It certainly does have the tone of a romcom as someone mentioned above...

Yep, she is!

According to Twitter, the gorgeous one is Billy.

Who's Twitter? ;)

But seriously, this Sarah Alexander is a case for the "Who Do You Fancy?" thread.

A delllluuuuuuge of teenage girls and ladies who like a bit of Robert Sheehan!

Hah, I didn't did I...?

Tbh, I spend most of the show dreaming about Mrs Jones.

In terms of funny, well, it's not hilarious but it's not My Family either. There's a direction, some funny stuff, a good atmosphere and the feeling that although caricatures, these are real people. A lot of comedies fall down with that, but this doesn't.

Not every comedy has to make you piss yourself laughing for 30 solid minutes. That would be exhausting.

Not one comedy in the last 10 years has done that!

Ha. Have you watched them all?

Make it stop!
