INT:
INTERIOR OF MODERN SUBURBAN HOME. KITCHEN \HALL AREA. A MAN WALKS THE FLOOR SPEAKING ON A CORDLESS PHONE.

MAN:
"Ok, give me a second. I need to find a pen to write this down."

HE PUTS THE PHONE ON MUTE AND PLACES IT ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER AND MOVES INTO THE HALL. HE SEARCHES FRANTICALLY IN A CHEST OF DRAWERS FOR A PEN.
FRONT DOOR OPENS AND A WOMAN ENTERS LOOKING ANNOYED.

MAN:
(Angry tone) "Where's the bloody pens? I can never find them."

WOMAN:
"Why don't you use that thing in your pants?"

MAN:
"What?"

WOMAN:
"Well you signed your divorce with it last night when you messed with that bitch!"

Decent little caper, easy to follow and a chuckle at the end.

Funny in regard to other thread but, a suggestion or two if I may?

It reads like a snippet from a sitcom rather than a sketch to me Tj. I'd lose the first 'pen' . SO it reads.
MAN:
(FLUSTERED), Ok, ok. I need to write this down.
SEARCHES FRANTICALLY ETC

I wouldn;'t have the phone on mute. Give the voice on the end the final punch, and maybe tweak the woman's dialogue a tad to give it a bit of bounce. Have the guy deny it and the voice comes in with something to pay off.

Just my take etc. And ... Welcome aboard meanwhile
