I'd still lick you though, even after a full day's work bagging up briquettes followed by blow-out on fish and chips and then turning up at the track, without shoes, just as the starter's gun was going off...

As a lapsed Catholic I enjoyed this immensely.

I think it would be lost on a lot of people but should that be discouraged? Some of my favourite sketches ever are esoteric/out there

I don't know if Alf Tupper ever played cricket or had a race with Wilson, but I have a strange scenario developing in my mind involving Tupper, Wilson and Private Chung, with Chung performing unspeakable yet curiously pleasurable acts with his clicky ba' ...
