I didn't even enter mine in the end, even after editing, it seemed too full of stuff. I wanted to do something a little fast paced, and it's all in one place, but it was still too... Packed.

I think you made the right decision, Feeoree.
Just had another look at mine, which was brutally hacked down to get inside two pages and now reads like what it is - the pacing/ characterisation is gone, the dialogue is iffy and the bare bones of the plot mechanics are in plain view.
I imagine they let it through because they liked the idea, despite the execution, but that doesn't help much at shortlisting/ selection stage.
