Sketches that would make good sitcoms Page 5

A Brian Butterfield movie is in the works.

That teacher woman in the lab coat from Chewin' The Fat would make a brilliant sitcom character. Although not too sure about the boss lady with the massive moustache - so disturbing.

The post apocalyptic gameshow in Mitchell and Webb would make for a good continuing series.

Just the right balance of comedy and tragedy in that one....

Sort of like the Walking Dead but more laughs and talking to camera.

(I always thought the PAG was Numberwang but they'd forgotten all the "rules" after "the event" :P )

There are many sketches that would make sitcoms, but GOOD sitcoms is entirely another question. There are many great sitcom characters languishing in pretty poor or just average sitcoms, so you always need more than what what makes a good sketch. They don't often make the huge leap required from sketch to sitcom. It's a bit like asking Linford Christie to run the 1500m.
