What's your dad's name? I know three of the semi finalists. Sods.

SPOILERS!!!!

Hi folks, I am coming to the festival 17th to 21st August and looking to meet some interesting people to catch a few shows with. Also, I guess I'll have some time on my hands so if you're an act and need a bit of a hand with something - I'm happy to consider it. Cheers, Bri. PS - I'm not mental

I'd recomend AFT (Anyone for tennis) great Aussie musical duo. I saw their preview and it was excellent.

I'm up for one day only. One day! Sigh.

When/where are you performing?

But that's just what a mental person would say. PS - I'm not mental either.

My old comedy mucker Meryl O'Rourke is doing her first full length Edinburgh show, 'Bad Mother':

Let us know how he got on.

He didn't get through. But it's still his first year as a comedian, so he's chuffed to have made it that far into the competition.

There was an article in the paper about Edinburgh sketch shows not writing all night to respond to the Riots. But if they did things like that they'd be professional surely? Okay, some people may have changed their act but it's unlikely that people who aren't getting an audience anyway would alter their act, isn't it?

Why would a sketch group be expected to write new stuff about the riots? Unless they're doing topical stuff.

Doesn't the audience itself have an expectation?
