Since they're bringing people back from Whose Line (Wayne Brady) they should ask Josie Lawrence on. She had/has a recent radio show with tons of improv on audience suggestions. She's still got it!

She's too old for telly. Let's stick with sexy young popsicles like Laura Solon.

Can't we have both!

She could be her mum in sketches.

It might work mixing old and new (and that's certainly the long term aim of my love life), but I don't think the contestants are the real problem. It's the games, they seem a bit rubbish.

This wants to be Whose Line? meets Give Us a Clue, instead it's nowt more than a family of toffs, playing charades on Christmas afternoon.

Cringeworthy.

What I don't understand about tonight's edition was the need to bring on Pippa Evans for the Sideways Scene section. I can understand why you'd bring on David Armand for the dancing because he specialises in that, but all she was doing was a standard improv routine on her back.

I was sorting a draw so I wasn't really paying attention, but it seemed the weakest of a weak series. The dancing game is now just tedious and the Dragons' Den game was a total misfire. The Sideways game seemed lazy too. Ropey.

Unless it was a raffle?

That was really weird!

I really enjoyed this week's.
Justin, David Armand and Greg are great. I loved the tethered Geordie bit. Very funny.

There were some laughs, but overall I agree with chipolata that it was noticeably the weakest so far.

Maybe they've an agreement with Equity to provide employment for a certain number of people per episode, hence Pippa's entrance for Sideways Scene...

>_< Please can we remove these ageist posters? Very rude, do not want to do 'private' stuff, it needs to be portrayed and exposed, if not severley dealt with by moderators there should be Anarchy!
Please clean up this sexism.

It was a joke, dellas.
Probably best to learn to identify those on a comedy forum, or one could get very busy complaining.

Absoloutely love this programme - best thing on TV at the moment. Like all the performers but Humphrey Kerr especially. They are all talented and clever. :)

Doesn't experience count anymore? Josie Lawrence is funnier, anyway.

I think chipolata was doing some satire there people ;)

Anyway, pretty much agree with the last two pages of this thread... it's fun, but it's just not quite Whose Line. Frustrating the audience aren't involved, it was odd to have Pippa Evans appearing for just one scene, more pros from Whose Line should be invited on etc etc...

Greg Davies is pretty hilarious in this though I think - turning even the most average suggestion/request into something rather funny.

It seems to keep stopping and starting - for explanations, mini-rounds which are mainly miss...
