Russell Howard ? His attempt to take the piss out of Wayne Rooney's looks (again) are seriousely misjudged .. Seeing how Russell has all the wit and looks of a shit fly blowing a vuvuzela

(BTW - it was 'The Larry Sanders Show' - Phil's (the writer) reaction to the news that Hank is ill and won't be on the show that night. That should put the two of you who vaguely gave a toss out of your misery. )

The show is much stronger without Mr Howard. Tonight in particular worked well with a generally enjoyable flow of banter between the guests. Much better than when Russell acts like the show is him and Dara having a conversation in the presence of 5 other people.

Speaking of, good on Dara for poking fun at a certain other BBC show he's now fronting.

I laughed twice at this show last night. I'm such a f**king sell-out.
