Andrew Newman Leaving Channel 4

Andrew Newman, the head of comedy and entertainment at Channel 4 has left the channel after over 10 years of working for it. He is now moving to Objective Productions.

Amongst the shows Newman has been involved with (mainly as commissioner) include Brass Eye (as a specialist researcher), The 11 O'Clock Show, The Sunday Show, Da Ali G Show (producer), The Adam and Joe Show, The IT Crowd, Free Agents, Balls of Steel, Star Stories, The Friday Night Project, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Fonejacker, You Have Been Watching, The TNT Show and was responsible for commissioning series three to six of Peep Show.

Yes. I suppose the big worry is whether or not his replacement will be as keen on Peep Show as he was.
