Lee Mack on TalkSport today...

Sounds like Not Going Out will be back for another series.

Lee Mack was on TalkSport today and confirmed that he'd been talking to the BBC about them cancelling the show and it sounded really promising.

I didn't catch the whole thing though, so if someone can find a clip of the interview (I couldn't) could you please post it here?

Best news I've heard today. :D :)

I wouldn't get too excited. Does the BBC have a track record of U turns?

I know what you mean :(

Everyone on the show just couldn't understand why it had been cancelled... Have you ever met anyone that didn't like it? Weird BBC drones... Although I have heard on here that they have a new head of comedy coming in, maybe this is who Lee's ben talking to? :)

Firstly, this should have gone in the recent Not Going Out thread.

Secondly, very encouraging news, but I wouldn't be too hopeful.

Thirdly, there are some quite bizarre members here who don't like the show.

The only one I could find mate was the season 3 thread I did search :)

That's the one!

Aaron likes his threads all neat and tidy. It's his OCD you see.

Yes, as bigfella says, that is the recent one. And it's series, not season!

Lol, OCD indeed. :D

Not like me to use 'season'....nevermind!

Does anyone have a latest on this?

What show had Lee Mack on?
Last time I listened to the station most of the presenters had no idea about any life outside of sports and cars except for (the soon to be sacked) John Gaunt who was obsessed with sentencing and illegal immigrants.

No idea about any life outside of sports and cars? What about Paul Hawksbee - one of the writers on 'Harry Hill's TV Burp' and 'Al Murray's Multiple Personality Disorder'?

Yeah, it was H & J.

Paul Hawksbee and Andy Jacobs at 1pm.

No latest on Not Going Out Series 4 then? :(

TalkSport? Jesus, what a station! I imagine 99 per cent of its listeners are either London black cab drivers, divorced middle-aged men living in hostels or serial killers with a particular penchant for throttling teenage prostitutes with football scarves (Chelsea mainly).

Although they did sack James Whale for trying to get listeners to vote for Boris Johnson. Which was amusing.
