DVD Bargains Page 11

It makes box sets quite attractively priced, hopefully there won't be any snags or small print!

:O

Over £100? HELLLLOOOOOOOO. :D

(Not for DVDs, but for other stuff.)

Ditto. That's fantastic news.

Best site to keep an eye on is hotukdeals.com it's a site where people post deals and stuff they've spotted in rl and on the web.

I keep it in my google reader so I can pounce upon these opportunities asap :)

(You can get free cinema tickets too, I went to see that film Taken, was rubbish but watchable due to it's cost :D)

Stop the presses - they're releasing 'The Best Of Loose Women'!

I thought it was an April Fools joke at first... then I realised that's half-a-year away. There really are people out there who want to buy a DVD of women gossiping about their bras and bitching about men, all set against the backdrop of a cheap daytime studio?!? Now that's comedy!

In a sense, it's not so different to what goes on round these parts. ;)

Watched Franks Skinners' new DVD recently. F**king hilarious, well worth getting.

Also saw Frankie Boyle's which was also very good.

Bill Bailey's new one was, to me, a bit of a let down although it did have it's moments.

Bill Bailey I agree not his best

Frankie Boyle brilliant! from start to end and it was quite a long set too.

You should watch Franks Skinner's new one Gav, had me in stitches. :D

Russell Howard's is worth every penny. I got to watch it at work today, it was quite fantastic! Truthfully, I went in sceptically thinking "meh, another live DVD for Christmas" but it is really REALLY funny!

Laughing out loud Fair does.

Who was it the late, great BM said was 'as funny as a fire in an orphanage'?

For my money it would easily be Skinner!

Mock The Week Too Hot For TV
[p=http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/3438751/Mock-The-Week-Too-Hot-For-TV/Product.html]

Do panel shows work on DVD? They've always struck me as a particularly throway comedy format? Great for one viewing and one viewing only, preferably in the week of broadcast.

The ones I noticed on Play.com were:

Absolute Power Series 1 - £3.99
Lee Mack Live - £3.99
Harry Hill, Hooves Live - £2.99
Keith Barrett Live - £2.99
Stewart Lee: Stand up Comedian - £3.99

They also have both series of I'm Alan Partridge for £5 each
