I agree, I believe it was mentioned earlier in this thread or on something I read that during the 70's (golden age for comedy) you could just "stroll in with a script and get it commissioned" but now what with so much red tape and people not as willing to take risks as it could lose the channel money as it was less of a concern 30 years.
