The Larkins (2021)

The new series!

My Dad loved the books and so we watched David Jason's "Darling Buds of May."

So now they've remade it again with Bradley Walsh and Joanna Scanlan .

Loved Peter Davison's swearing vicar. However I'm sure there would've been no Asian teachers in those days.

And the new Mariette is quite attractive.

A few frankly bizarre casting decisions, but let's see where it goes. Last night's episode was a very enjoyable launch and, whilst not as funny as I'd hoped, was thoroughly delightful to watch. The rest of the series should be a treat.

Yes I wasn't quite sure where to post this but you've moved it to Other Comedy. There was already a "Larkins" thread featuring Peggy Mount though.

I think we all know what's going on with the casting. Didn't have the charm of the original but very easy to watch.
