The Grapes of Math

A lorry driver is drinking a cup of tea in an empty transport café when he spots a familiar face enter. The two men nod at each other and once served the driver sits next to him.

BARRY
Hello Jim, I haven't seen you in years I thought you were out the game?

JIM
I was, I hung my keys up two years ago, decided to get out early.

BARRY
So how come you're back in ?

JIM
With this driver shortage the way it is and the money on offer, I thought I'd give my pension a little boost.

BARRY looks around at the empty café.

BARRY
Tell me about it, I've never seen anything like it . Between you me and the gate post before this lot happened. I had to do a bit of the old drug smuggling lark for a drugs gang , you know to make ends meet.

JIM
Good for you , have you seen the light then?.

BARRY
Have I f**k it's just that you can make more money now bringing in fruit and veg from the continent than you can bringing in cocaine.

I do love your titles, Teddy. Nice little sketch too.

Thanks for the read and I do like a nice title :P

Yes ditto on the titles
