Indeed. It's obviously everybody else's fault. Wouldn't it be nice if people had the guts to take responsibility for their choices?

If the Remainers allow it, I will!

Nutters, morons and racists - everyone of them? You forgot homophobes and Nazi's

If UK politics are anything like they are here (and I pray they aren't) then anyone who is concerned about immigration, government spending, or bloated bureaucracies is automatically considered a racist/homophobe/Nazi. I think their reasoning is that if they say it often enough it becomes truth.

What about the taxes you pay to the British bureaucracy? This happens whatever model of government you have.

Yes but why pay taxes for my Country AND Europe?

As is becoming more and more evident Europe needs us more than we need them.

I nearly spat out my tea. Things like this just hit me straight away.

Billy I have just realised the joke and it's funny so now I feel like a total idiot and I'm sure that's a little extra cream on your bun.

During a walk through the park yesterday I was surrounded by armed police officers, it was a little surreal, scary when I saw them coming out of the fog with laser pointing weapons
I went to move away but obviously that made things worse and I was held down with weapons pointing at me because I matched a description of someone who was suspected of carrying a Machete
I was handcuffed, interrogated but finally given a lift home, apart from the fact that my home was nearer than the Police car was

I'm just glad I wasn't in America, because with my tan it could have gone a lot worse

Oh my word. Oh my word!... That was my Kriss Akabusi impersonation. Good, isn't it?

There's a website called Quora.
Its blurb

Quora is a place to gain and share knowledge. It's a platform to ask questions and connect with people who contribute unique insights and quality answers.

It's worth reading for the level of intelligence the question askers - ask.

It's 99% questions about why atheists don't believe in god but there are some genuine corkers on there.

Today for example: Why, when our American soldiers taught English to the UK when we occupied them during the Second World war do they now spell words differently? Are they all stupid in England?

Clickbait.

I was reading that global sales of EV's are really slowing down and the big manufacturers are cutting back on how many they make per year.
It's been attributed to the price of equivalent petrol cars and a worldwide slowdown in the economy.

From what I've seen - there is far more to it than that.
In my opinion, if we are forced or only able to buy Ev's from 3035 or second-hand petrol cars then there is an unforeseen problem.
Manufacturers claim that the batteries last 10 years but in reality, they degrade from day 1 getting less and less miles per charge.
Car manufacturers are well known for exaggerating a new cars performance - and in this case, they only give the battery a 7 year warranty.

So, to the unseen problem. in 2045 there will be millions of 10 year old EV's with dud batteries. Who is going to buy a 2nd hand 10-year-old EV that needs a new, very expensive battery? It's the equivalent of buying a 10 year old car that needs a brand new engine. They will all be scrapped and recycled which sort of defeats the object of zero carbon.
