Seriously though I've been watching the last series of the Dean Martin show where it was a succession of Comedy Roasts during the 70s Where they roasted the likes of Muhammed Ali Telly Savalas, and Bob Hope
Has anyone seen any of these?
Apart from all the references I don't understand they can be pretty funny, but I found them interesting for the way that many of the minority and female comedians had to in some part conform to certain stereotypes to be liked but thankfully also calling it out from time to time
