It's 40 years today since the pilot. I like it, fair bit of good material. It would've been interesting to see their dynamic fleshed out a bit more, but ultimately Wood was more of a writer / comedian and Walters was more of an actor.

The shoe shop skit never fails with me. Has me in hysterics every time I see it. Julie Walters just cracks me up with her frantic shoe search in the window.
