Grant Green with carved top guitar, compared to Lucile it's a real McCoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TyQVtgQCEw

Wes Montgomery as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-iVgONy8kMY

Discussion, Carved vs. lams: https://www.jazzguitar.be/forum/guitar-amps-gizmos/5512-advantage-carved-top-vs-laminate-post798501.html#post798501

I liked the music videos. The last one was too technical for me .Which is the better?

Carved = solid wood, real 2 ps wood blanks, usually handmade top, expensive, I have only 1 (cheaper Korean 2007 wilki av3). Sound of good carved top guitar is very beautiful, for example guitars of Grant Green or Wes Montgomery. The velvety sound, it's the better instruments for me.
Laminated = plywood, cheep woods, overpriced, nasal sound even without amp, highly marketed. BB King "Lusille" - his original guitar and all line is a es335 model, some people like it as well. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibson_ES-335#ES-355

Thanks. There seems to be an infinite number of guitars to" pick "from.:)

I stumbled upon this 69,you may find it amusing.

Thank you, john tregorran.

I want only to add that Ukrainian language is softer and "more melodic" than Russian, there is widespread notion (every teacher in every school says it,... even that Ua language is the softest of all languages in the world))) ), I don't know what originated it, they say some study or UNESCO declaration or something that is most probably a myth. There are other languages that claim the same (~"language speaking like always singing", etc.)

Here is the song in Ukrainian language:

Ringo's releasing a book of his paintings. Should be awesome. Given his singing and drumming abilities over the last sixty years, can't wait to see what he does with a paintbrush.

I remembered this example of upping a guitar by paint. For me it equals ruining an instrument, but their hands were itching, I suppose...

"...during 67 everybody started painting, I decided to paint it" - his Fender Stratocaster.

George Harrison talks about his 1st strat,

Utter crap

Google :

ringo paint paintings

What were you expecting though? This is the man who went from Abbey road to Thomas The Tank Engine drinking so much he made George Best look like Noddy.
Some of his solo albums are good, but only cos of the surrounding talent: Ringo, Goodnight Vienna, Postcards from Paradise. Semimental Journey, Ringo the Fourth and I Wannabe Santa Claus are often considered the worst solo Beatle albums ever - including Wild Life.

To my uneducated ear it doesn't sound much like Russian at all.
Are you in Ukraine or Russia?
I don't want to offend you by presuming one or the other :)

(The answer to J T: ...I'm in Odessa, Ukraine. The song is in Ukrainian, ... all natural languages are beautiful).

Here is the song from Keane single and one collection, it is not on albums and is lesser known, but to me it is one of the besties: "Thin Air"

Thanks.I have heard of the Potemkin Stairs. From the top you can't actually see the stairs. :)

Everly Brothers Greatest Hits CD set received as a Chrissy present. Wonderful harmony singing. Such memories. Cathy's Clown was the first 45 my wife bought back in 1960, which we still have in out vinyl singles collection. Fabulous song.

Well get yourself a record player (if you haven't already got a working one) and play the single.

I've decided that from my massive collection to listen to the Average White Band's second album which includes Pick up the Pieces.

However it's wonderful and soulful and PUTP isn't at all representative of the album.
