I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,237

What's a sizeable minority? Same as a small majority?

No. As I say, I don't think a majority of Leave voters were racist all. Are you saying you think they were then?

Quote: Chris Hallam @ 14th December 2020, 2:48 PM

No. As I say, I don't think a majority of Leave voters were racist all.

Exactly.
Of course, not all Brexiteers were racist.
All racists were Brexiteers, though.

You have no idea how stupid you make yourselves look.

A bit rich given that your last post made no sense whatsoever.

Once again, you miss the joke.

Which one was the joke?
Anyway - I wouldn't have thought my statement was offensive to anyone - except, possibly, racists.

Quote: Stephen Goodlad @ 7th December 2020, 9:16 PM

That is utter bullshit.
I have someone who works for an import, export software company.
They have been preparing for it for 2 years.
No red tape, the software is there to make it seamless.

Ah! I assume this was a joke too then? I should have guessed!

Ok, what do you think will happen, you've been fed the Armageddon scenario bs until it's the only truth.
Hallam is embarrassed again so resorts to past posts. Do you work on the assumption that you don't know about it - so it can't be true?
And Barker, you have to stop calling people with a different opinion racists.

I'm not embarrassed!

No.
I called racists 'racists'.
Believe it or not, there are racists in this country.
They're the racists I'm referring to you.
FFS.
It's not all about you , Stephen.

Well that was brand new news.
Who are these racists you mention?
All of them brexit voters - so every racist voted brexit.
Sweeping somewhat.
Is there a plague of them?
Or is it a handy insult to hand out to make you feel superior?

Quote: Stephen Goodlad @ 14th December 2020, 7:04 PM

so every racist voted brexit.

Do you think many voted Remain?
I guess it's a possibility .. ticked the wrong box maybe?
I'm fairly sure my theory isn't that controversial.

I voted Brexit, but I recognise that it is now easier and affordable to travel around the globe and would welcome any colour/religious denomination peoples in to this country provided that it was managed effectively. My sole reason for voting Brexit was that I find the EU to be a corrupt gravy train for the officials involved, much like FIFA and the IOC. Like those organisations, the people in charge see no reason to change anything thereby lining their pockets continuously whilst looking after their cronies and each other.

That sounds much like the House of Lords.A place where some fervent Brexiteers now find themselves :)

I'm sure you're not alone in your reasoning.
Like any organisation I'm sure there's plenty to criticise about how they do things.
My thinking Is that's it better to be inside the tent pissing out than the other way round.
There was lot's wrong - we should have spent more time trying to put it right.
Not sure storming out to make a point is particularly effective.
