You're welcome to critique every aspect (script, sound, animation, acting, music, editing, anything else).

Thanks to anyone who looks!

Noice.
What 3d prog you using - How did you get the voice sync down?

Blender. It's a free programme (and it's pretty good). You can google for it and download it now.

Lip sync is done by going through every 24th of a second with Adobe Audition - incredibly dull but it gets the job done.

Blender - well done -
I couldnt be arsed when I looked at it. Having got use to Studio max
my copy wouldnt work after windows got updated to 7 I think it was.
Just stopped working properly. Prog cost more than the computer so I kept the XP machine. Actually the graphics card cost even more than the machine. That one had 16 gb memory and (Quadro) Glory days of video games -

Checked out Zbrush ? - stunning if one has the patience and firepower.

On the lipsync - I havent checked as Im not au fait with blender but I would be surprised if someone hasnt finagled a speech addon that corresponds to audio if you assign vertices to the mouth shapes

Ah ........there you go just looked itup ! https://3dwithus.com/automated-lip-sync-animation-3d-model-blender-rhubarb

I decided to go with 2d animation - For me its quick and dirty and throw away. Im still a novice mind :)

Blender can be frustrating to learn, but I adore the fact that it's free! (I suspect Maya, Z-brush and Studio Max are frustrating to learn too)

I'll look into lip-sync, however I fear my laptop will give up if I try to do anything more CPU-intensive than my current way of doing it.

I started off with 3d apps I can even remember the names of. Lots died or got absorbed.
Maya - max they were similar back then - and free if one used a crack copy.
Blender was a bit odd as I recall and limited. I dont know what its like now - I hear its come a long way.
Animation can be an expensive game.

You can do some pretty incredible things with Blender nowadays. Here's an example: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=WhWc3b3KhnY .

You can use Blender for 2d animation too through a tool called "grease pencil" but I've not given it much of a try yet. I know you can use Blender to compile 2d images onto 2d backgrounds (both of which can be made in another programme) and then export those images as a video file (though the video export options are a little limited). You can also edit videos with Blender, so if money's an issue maybe blender is all you need.

Not sure if I'll send TARS to anyone in TV/Radio land. Shall ponder.

Yep -Blender is impressive - Might check out out 'grease pencil' when I get my mind back on Animation. Loved some of the other animation featuring on youtobe. Great for inspiration and as well as discouragement :) good script is everything.
